Eastern Bluebird


This Eastern Bluebird is New York’s state bird. But don’t worry too much about how to identify it, or where the best place in NYC to spot it is, because YOU WILL NEVER EVER SEE THIS BIRD IN NEW YORK CITY.

Technically, it’s not a rare species, and it does get spotted by birders in Central Park and Prospect Park, You just don’t really see it in NYC.

I don't blame him for not being in NYC. I've been there more than once (All boroughs) & I don't care for it. Too crowded and busy for this southern country girl! :th_hehe:

LOL, I am the same with busy Cities. I dont like them at all! Most people dont understand how I dont like London!! I just dont like the crowds:(

What a beautiful little bird! I'd love to see that at my feeders. I, too, do not like crowds. Just going to the local Walmart on a Saturday is enough to start an anxiety attack! Too many people in too small of a space. And it's fixing to get worse as Christmas shopping will start in another month or so. Ugh!!

i DO NOT GO NEAR the shops during xmas, if i need to food shop i go late at night if partner has not gone, i just can not do shops at xmas
