Can't upload pics to Album

when I try to add a pic there is a little red circle that appears next to the delete button before you try and upload...not sure if that helps any...
or if that even makes any sense

it is saying the file is too large...not sure how to make it smaller

I tried using photo bucket instead and it says file invalid...but it did let me post straight to a thread so I can deal with that for now
