its coming into spring here in 2 weeks and all the flowers are starting to come out, the lorries go wild this time of year, with all the bottle brush,even my birds love it.

Codie def looks like he is loving his treat! :) I wonder if cactus blooms would be safe? I think I might try one of those out on the Sassy girl. Although, she'll eat anything. Maybe I'll try them out on the more discerning, Amigo. My birds love manzanita blooms and berries.

Mare, I would say cactus blooms would be fine to give your birds. The pads & fruits of the prickly pear where the seeds are can be fed to tortoises as well as the blooms. Barrel cacti is edible to animals. I have never read or heard of cactus being bad for critters, except maybe peyote cacti. :th_hehe:
