Beautiful birds! You must love having those parrots living wild around you. I know I would!

i had over 200 parrots come in every day to be feed , i went through 40kg (88pounds) of seed a week, 4kg(8pounds) lorry food i brought all my fruit and veg by the box's and they came in at all different times through out the day depending on what type of parrot, the too's came in morning and afternoon, and that is the one thing i miss the most about my property, there is a pair of scaly breasted lorries in one of the pics that use to every day get through the bars of maxx and lexxy's top cage and fly down into the massive aviary and play for hours then squeeze back out and be back the next day for the same thing.

I can't imagine all of them in a back yard. What a treat, were they generally quiet or did they sound off a lot?

Australia is a birders paradise for sure.

well put it this way, i knew when they came in and it didnt matter what flock it was they let me know they were there and if seed or food was not out well, but , even now people dont know how i can sleep through my birds going off and i can be a sleep in the bird room , i just dont hear the noise i hear music, i love the sound of birds talking.

Well now im back in Queensland and i have the wild birds coming back ill see about getting more photo's today if i had camera or even phone on me would have made a great shot there would have been around 60 too's in one tree and on the ground around it.
