Going to pick keko

So at 3pm today me and my mother is going through to kens and i get to pick keko out :) as i said before i'm not bothered if it's a male or female due to grey's being very layed back birds and very cuddly this will be a first time thing for my mam and i don't think she has a clue what to expect :th_hehe: i have warned her that she will be sky bombed by amazons, grey's, macaws and the rest but she should be use to it by now living in the same home with jinx and georgie :th_LOL:

I will be taking some pictures and even a video or two and will post them in this thread when i return so keep an eye out. :th_biggrin:

Not quite lol we only went to pick keko not to bring him/her home as there only 9 weeks of age so 3 weeks left yet.

Truth be told we haven't picked keko out as we are not bothered if it's male or female i want female secretly i think my mam want's a male. :th_hehe:

It's amazing how quickly they grow. When my chicks were little I swear you could watch them grow, we would go to bed and look at them in the morning and they were bigger with more feathers! Now they are 6 months old and laying. Just so interesting. They are really beautiful and I am sure that Keko will be home before you know it.

thanks Paul for the video , just love babies, it does amaze me how quick they grow, with my eckkie's for the 1st few weeks the double in size every day, and i still get amazed at how quick they grow , well only 2 weeks for me and i get to start the hand feeding again.

I'm sure it's such a joy hand feeding babies i'd love to raise chicks one day maybe in the future and your welcome i will be sure to get another video from ken next week and the DNA results should be in by then aswell.

Aw man I want them all! I still remember all the visits with Jasper before he was able to come home and how much difference there was in him from one visit to the next. I want another baby so bad.

I know it's a rainforest cage spring loaded feeder doors open top and the rest only cost £169 which is cheap but saying that it is on sale original retail price is £290 - £300 so got a steel. :D

I got Quincy when he was a baby, too! I was only able to visit him once or twice before I brought him home though. Brings back a lot of great memories. I am very excited for YOU! :th_biggrin:
