Today ,while I was waiting to get my 5 birds groomed . They had a lot of zons there. Which was a big deal to me . Cause they never have them [and I realized Id only seen them in pictures] The Yellow napes [ARE HUGE] they were fantastic [Im in love] They had lilac crowns ,a hispolian [he looked like a pionus] and a Chaco blue front. Who I of course wanted :) . I wish I had gotten Tequila when he was a younger bird . I have such a close relationship with him and my Macaw . That's why I haven't gotten others . But oh how neat to see them in person today. :th_chickendance: Id say Tequila is the whole bird experience in my house.

Terri I see another parrot or two in your future! :th_LOL: If I could afford them & had the time to take care of more, I'd have another Zon & of course another macaw or two. :th_biggrin:

I haven't heard of Chaco Blue Fronts before. You should post photos, I'd love to see one.

Yes terri the chaco blue front is a subspecies the chaco's have more blue on there heads compared to a normal blue fronted amazon video's below for you so you can see the difference. :D

Normal blue front's this is jinx and his brother last year before i got him jinx has the most blue on his head.

And this is a young chaco blue front the subspecies to the normal blue front as you can tell this young one has way more blue on it than jinx and his brother combined.

Yes, thanks for the videos Paul! I can certainly see the difference in the blue. The Chacos are gorgeous, but I bet they are super expensive compared to the normal ones.

Yeah they are more expensive than the normal blue front's a chaco will cost you £900 where as a normal blue front will cost you £500 - £600 depending on which breeder you go to.
