Codie seems to bite his nails all the time. I cant see any damage done to them though! I was just wondering how many others do this?
Here is a picture of him in action :)

Ruthie does this all the time. Teka on the other hand, I'm not sure he even knows he has feet.

When I had Rosie she was a big nail biter. Good thing they do not have fingernails!!

Everyone but the zon nail bite here. Poor Danny is afraid to even pick up food with his foot still.

None of mine do this except Ruby Jewel. She is always nibbling on her nails or has one nail against her beak or hanging out of it. She seems to use it as a pacifier-like soothing mechanism when she is sitting quietly preening & fluffing herself.
I have a few photos showing her with her nails in or around her beak, I don't think I have any uploaded of it tho.

Quincy & Savannah both do this. I do notice Savannah seems to play with her nails a lot more then Quincy, though. It sounds like it is pretty normal! :)
Amigo's nails go in his beak instantly when he's unsettled about something. Sassy seems to chew on hers just to clean them.
