Well Terri and Wendy, Salsa probably would be a great 'trick' performing parrot... but I've more or less avoided the trick training path because to pursue it would not really be consistent with who I am. To me, Salsa's unique gift is that he tends to be emotionally expressive in his statements, and tends to use appropriate voice inflections to represent the degree of emotion he's feeling at the moment. At least he seems to do it better than most other Macaws I'm familiar with. And I have to tell you that this particular talent of his is WAY special enough for me :). But thanks for your favorable view of him... Sals and I very much appreciate the compliment :th_biggrin:
