here in Australia, with all the rb2 wild , a known fact about them is if a mate dies, the other will fly str8 in front of cars and trucks to take there own life, they will only mate with one bird in there life and when one goes the other takes its life. and almost brought two yesterday but they were wild caught, but only $35, so if i can sort out a space for them i may go back next weekend and buy one or two, as long as they are babies i can train them.

rb2 are rose breasted cockatoo's or galah parrot as know by in Australia, and with the wild they are just very scared birds

That is sad that the mate would take its own life, but I can see how loyalty & love could drive one to do such. People could learn a lot from the dedication mated parrots have for each other. Not to the point of suicide, but being monogamous with their partners & loving them to such high degrees.

i agree
