Here is a few pics of the hornbill I fostered 5 years ago. Sweetpea was the neatest bird! I loved watching her hop around.

She was hilarious. Hopped all over the place, threw her food up in the air and caught it to eat. She was into everything. The only drawback is the poo. She eats fresh fruit and squirts her poop like a lorry would do. All over the walls and floors. But it was worth it.

Love hornbills! At the zoo I volunteered at as a teen I loved to play with the hornbills.

Is hornbill the name of the species? He's awful cute! Reminds me of Woody woodpecker!

Yes. They get their name from the shape of their beak.
