how many animals do you have ?

well after reading time for crazy bird kit to come out , was just wondering how many pets do we all have, including our birds, well im at 42 pets in this house, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 snakes, 3 ferrets,7 eckkies, 4 teils, 2 lorries,16 budgies,4 gold fish. in the last year ive lost 1 cat, 1 dog, and 5 budgies. and 1 teil, and in the next two months i will have a CAG and hoping to have a B/G along with new stock of budgies

Wow Steve! That is incredible! I think everyone will have me beat by far. I have 2 birds and 2 fish. I've lost a dog about 6 years ago and we haven't readopted since. We want Marcus who is 3 to be a little older before considering another dog. He is unfortunately afraid of dogs because of some strangers dogs coming up to him when he was 2 years old! I lost a Quaker 15 years ago. That's it for now!

that's me now iv'e thinned them out, there were 72 more snakes,a lot more birds, at one time i had over 100 birds, and one day ill get back to nothing but a property full of averies, but for now im happy with the few i have.

I only have 12 birds and 2 cats (sometimes 3 as there's usually a feral one that comes up to eat). Unless you count all the wild birds, squirrels, and rabbits we feed. Then it would be too hard to count. lol

5+ birds, 2 dogs, 8 cats, I ferret ( she has been sent to another home to be fostered as she really wanted in the parrot cages) 55 gal fish tank, and 10 fully trained pack goats with 10 other goats hanging out until we find homes for them)

I thought of my 7 dogs, (who of only 2 are mine), 6 horses,( who of only 2 are mine), 6 cats, (Ive never wanted a cat), 12 wild turkeys, 2 cockatoos, what should I count, really. I love them all, I have them all, did I want them all?? Certainly not but we have come to love each other!

Hahaha and people say I'm nuts when I tell them I have 5 birds :P I also have 2 dogs, and 3 monkeys aka kids ;)

Oh Golly Gee Whizzzz, do I have to tell? OK, I'm going to sound like the hoarder woman here~~~No wait, on second thought & recapping the previous posts~~Yep I just sound like I fit in with this crazy bunch of critter/bird nuts I hang out with here!:th_biggrin:

So starting with my 'wolf pack' which consists of the most vicious group of dogs on the face of this earth, I have 8! 2 Toy Poodles, 2 Shih Tzus, 3 Standard Poodles & 1 Sheepadoodle (Standard Poodle/Old English Sheep dog, unrelated to my Spoos). :th_LOL:

Next we have my 'wild' flock of parrots, I have 14. The most bothersome group of birds I could have ever brought home~~My Feathered Kids!! :th_heart: I have 3 macaws, 1 female Eclectus, 1 Pineapple Green Cheek Conure & 9 Budgies. I did lose one budgie recently.

Now to my alternative critters, meaning not your everyday run of the mill types kept by sane folks. I have 2 Chinchillas, 2 pet Rats, 3 tortoises, (1 sulcata, 1 leopard, & 1 Indian Star tortoise), 4 Tarantulas, 6 Snakes, (2 Colombian Boa Constrictor, 3 California Kingsnakes, & 1 Cornsnake), 1 male Betta fish with 4 ghost shrimp buddies, the cleanup crew! I did have as many as 34 snakes until I decided to keep parrots again. I sold most of them and gave the guy who bought almost all my snakes the really big guys, my retics & burms. I do miss a lot of my scaled kids, especially the retics & burms. They have so much character and gentleness if treated with love & respect.

So, now to tally up my crazy ~~personal zoo~~ Lets see, 8 dogs, 14 birds, 2 chinchillas, 2 rats, 3 tortoises, 4 Ts, 6 snakes, 1 fish & 4 buddies for a grand total of~~44!:th_faint:

Oh and I have 1 Son~~Grown thank goodness~~I never wanted to have more human kids than I could afford. I almost over did it with the one!:th_loltears:
