They are magnificent creatures and HUGE! A couple weeks ago I was driving up the hill, I had been shopping in the valley, and I saw this huge bird with snow white tail feathers and head. I had to pull over and check it out. It was a bald eagle being chased by a small bird! It must have been raiding a nest!

Where I live we don't have eagles. We do have hawks & large owls. You have to go to the Big bend area close to the border between Old Mexico & Texas around the Rio Grande river to see golden Eagles. I have read that they have a migratory airway through that part of Texas & people go to Eagle's Pass to watch them head south for winter.

I have seen Golden Eagles in Utah when we were on the truck. And we saw an eagle once in Montana, I think it was a Bald Eagle. They are so beautiful when you can see them in the wild & they are so huge~~Magnificent!!!:th_hug8:
