Interesing sound! I listened to the video a second time with my eyes closed and to me it sounds like a small dog barking.

Our Macaw makes a similar sound, slower though and hers sounds like more like clucking.

I tried closing my eyes too.. sort of like a little dog barking off in a distance. Cool!

Oops! Sorry I posted this twice, just getting the hang of putting up videos! Amigo does bark like a dog but this isn't it. When someone drives into the yard and all the dogs get going, Amigo will chime in!

I have heard mated pairs make that noise to each other, but never that long or that many....

This is not something he does daily, just once in a while and only when in the house. It happens in the evening. Actually, I have seen him do this around his hole in the tree, when he would sleep outside but it is a rare occurrence. OMG! Shelly! I just realized you said they say this to each other and NO, no, believe me when I say, I have never done this back to Amigo!

Mare that is cute as can be!! It kind of sounds like a dog toy. Amigo is adorable that is for sure! I'm sure he could talk Mina into going to his tree lol.

Could he be imitating the sound turkey's make? Maybe he was listening to your wild turkeys?
