hello all, I've just joined after honesty pointed me in the direction of this lovely new forum. what a refreshing change after losing two forums over the last few months.

i share my life with jasper parrot a congo African grey and my partner tony, who likes the idea of having a parrot but who doesn't like all the things that go with living with one, but i suppose his hearts in the right place.

maybe i know a few of you from other forums? i shall have a good look around and try and post some photos of jasper

I know what you mean about your partner Tony. My hubby loves all of our birds, builds play perches and things for them, feeds them tidbits when we have meals at the table and everyone on of them bites him if he tries to interact with them. :th_LOL: He so wants one to love him, but he doesn't put enough time into the relationship for that.

I've given up with tony, I've talked till i'm blue in the face, he just don't get it. lord help jasper if ever i'm not here :(

Spirit is a non-talking Grey. He will say something amazing about 3 to 4 times a year. LOL
